Colts
Rule The NFL
By Davin Edwards
Peyton Manning was
on fire Sunday. The 6'5, ruggedly good-looking quarterback with the amazing arm
was invincible, as the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Denver Broncos. There was
no contest in my mind; the Colts would win hands down. After all, they are the
best team in the NFL. They acquired the best kicker in the league, they have the
best coach, and above all, they have the best quarterback.
The Colts' victorious
win against the overrated Denver Bro ncos was an incredible victory. Jake Plummer
could not step up to the challenge, as Manning and his team creamed the Bro ncos
who were playing with home field advantage. A word to the Bro nco's coach, dump
Plummer, and get a real quarterback, like the one you have waiting on the side
restless to begin his NFL career. Come on, put the young rookie in, he could do
more in one game then Plummer can accomplish all year.
I am not alone in
my observation, everyone else is thinking it, I'm just the only one who is brazen
enough to actually say it. Besides that, Plummer looks more like a wilderbeast
then a football player. Give the man a shower and a much needed shave; take some
pride in your appearance and in the game.
And then there is the impressive
Peyton Manning, who always looks sophisticated, well kempt, and is poised with
striking confidence. Never one to buckle under pressure, he stayed in the pocket,
and never got sacked the entire game. He saunters on the field with eminence,
exuding pride and immaculate precision with each throw.
The Broncos and
their fans including the coach looked dumbfounded as the Colts skyrocketed with
an electrifying last second win when they kicked the winning field goal. The Colts
are still undefeated in the season, and only the Bears have the same record. Flawless,
they are number one in the NFL, and are destined to go to the Superbowl and win
this year.
Manning reminds me of the gorgeous, innately talented actor Leonardo
DiCaprio, who is the best in his profession. You cannot take your eyes off him
when he is on the screen, the same goes for Manning. Leo is the envy of every
actor in Hollywood, just like Peyton is the envy of every quarterback in the NFL.
Men want to be them, women love them, and me, well I just like watching them,
but I wouldn't mind meeting them.
The Colts are the elite team to beat.
They are unbeatable. Never will there be another like Peyton Manning, he is one
of a kind. He is the perfect embodiment of a quarterback, a football player and
a real professional. Because he really enjoys the game, you can see it in his
eyes everytime he throws the ball, it is beautiful to watch. Manning and the Colts
dominate the game everytime they step onto the field. Every team fears and reveres
them. The team is like a mountain. that no other football team can conquer.
