I felt like licking Peyton Manning's wounds after his post game speech. I mean how hard can a guy be on himself? Enough! "They were the better team", said Manning. Boo-hoo. Please!
The Colts were the better team in figuring out the Pats the way they did. Who else has played them like that? Causing the Pats 10 penalties for 146 yards? Who else has upset their defensive line like that? Who else has caused as many interceptions for Brady?
This was a wake up call for the Patriots.
Stop pouting Manning- this was a great game!
I say, snap out of it to the whole team! Think of what you want and not what you don't want. Think, "Laws of Attraction", and you're there.
Get over yourself and move on-to the process of elimination and where you and Tom Brady shall meet again! This time if you lose, I won't be there to lick your wounds because there won't be a third chance. And we don't like cry babies.
I'm just saying, you know. coming from a Women's perspective and all.
On to my Picks for week #10
Dallas VS Giants:
We all know this is a big rivalry and will be more for the Giants proving, 'it won't happen again'. The Giants are only trailing by one point behind the Cowboys, and you bet, they want it!
Remember that frightening game they played at Dallas back in week (1)? Clearly, a weak team coming out of the gate-on both offense and defense. Brace yourself, because the Giants are looking much stronger on both sides of the fence. As for Dallas fans, let's hope Romo is not sitting back on his heels after his big defeat over the Eagles. There are more egos in Giants town and they want a game back!
I'm picking the Giants:
Denver VS Kansas City :
What happened in the AFC west? Not one team won a game! Ouch!
Kansas City , with a better defense looks pretty good as the Broncos are uncertain about Jay Cutlers return to the game this week. The team is beat up.
So what becomes of the Chiefs if Larry Johnson is out? We shall see.
This game is all about strategy.
I'm picking the Chiefs
Detroit VS Arizona :
Look at the Lions! Creeping up in the NFC North. And getting a little too close to my Packers. Step away!
Interesting enough, the Lions are not favored for this game-so far. Why so? Hmmm, scratch, scratch.
Perhaps it's all about home turf for the Cards? If my cutie-patuny, Edgerrin James gets his legs back, he might be key. Not sure they will win this one after the Lions victory over the Broncos and I'm sure they want to threaten the Packers even more. Not so fast! Let me make this another upset pick.
I'm picking the Cardinals.
Minnesota VS Green Bay :
I'm sure there are plenty of ego nests in Vikings town right now. And, with a possible defeat on the Packers, that would make many Pillsbury Doughboys. The Packers are hungry enough to fry any 'Doughboy', and on a roll to maintain their status. This will be a game to watch, especially if you're drinking a fine wine, very smooth, with earthy tones, and lots of after taste. And the cheese just keeps on melting in my mouth!
I'm picking the Packers.
I love this game!
