I am staring down the onset of my thirties, and last winter, chose to chase down a hope and goal I’ve had for years. Writing certainly wasn’t my first love, as far as careers go, but it is certainly my infatuation for the recent past. I spent almost ten years working in the juvenile development and behavior modification field. After working as a wilderness Survival Instructor, I moved out to California last fall, and have been focusing on writing short stories and poems, as well as a novel.
Originally from the heart of basketball’s soul, otherwise known as Indiana, I have lived on both coasts, and in many states in between. I’ve been a school teacher, coach of many scholastic and intramural teams, construction worker, and carnival barker. It’s been a ridiculously wild road I’ve ridden, and hopefully its many interesting elements add a life of energy and passion to my writing, but my readers have to be the judge of that in the end.
