I am the mother of three sons, Zach , 25, Evan 22, and Alex 18. I am a freelance writer working in the genres of creative nonfiction, personal essays, and short fiction. Weekly, I volunteer as the "Guitar Lady" at Akron 's Children's Hospital where I play guitar and lead interactive songs to the ambulatory patients as well as to the kids in the pediatric oncology wing.
