Steve Johnson is a freelance writer from Chicago, IL. Earning a degree in finance from Lewis University, a small Catholic university located in a Southwest suburb 35 miles from Chicago, Johnson's resume contains jobs that secure his claim to being a Jack-of-all-trades. Steve, a former college baseball player, has worked as a marketing assistant, a director of finance, a tennis instructor, and a sports agent where he negotiated endorsement contracts for professional athletes.
In fact, Steve says, it is his love of sports that helped him hone his marketing and writing skills. In 2004, Steve, wearing his entrepreneur hat, wrote, edited, directed, produced and distributed a documentary titled, "King of the Streets: The Ed "Booger" Smith Story," about a street basketball player from Brooklyn, NY which is currently being sold to overseas markets. Incidentally, in 1997, HBO co-produced and broadcast through its "HBO Presents" format a documentary titled, "Soul in the Hole" about the very same street ball player covered in Steve's documentary.
Now-a-days Steve spends his days writing, writing and more writing and always keeping an eye out for the multimedia project that will remove him from the 9 to 5 world forever.
